Rahul Gandhi On Gujarat Visit Today; To Attend Prayer Meet At Sabarmati Ashram

Rahul Gandhi will address the ‘Parivartan Sankalp’ show of the Congress’ “stall heroes” at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, party pioneers said.

Ahmedabad: Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi will on Monday address a convention of stall level party laborers and go to a request meet at the Sabarmati Ashram here in Gujarat where the Assembly surveys are expected in the not so distant future.

Mr Gandhi will address the ‘Parivartan Sankalp’ show of the Congress’ “corner heroes” at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, party pioneers said.

He will later visit the Sabarmati Ashram where he will go to a request meet and look for gifts of Mahatma Gandhi in front of the Congress’ ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, they said.

Mr Gandhi keep going visited Gujarat on May 10 when he tended to tribals in Dahod town.

This time he will prepare stall level Congress laborers for the impending races and subsequently send off the party’s political race, the party chiefs said.

Mr Gandhi’s visit to Gujarat comes two days before the party dispatches the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ on September 7.

The 3,500 km long foot walk will cover 12 states and two Union Territories and will be finished in almost 150 days.

The Congress has arranged a three-drawn out crusade for the Gujarat Assembly decisions due in the not so distant future, party pioneers said. Senior Congress pioneers Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi will crusade during this period, they said.

Remarks

The party plans to deliver its most memorable rundown of applicants by September 15, they added.
